Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of VibeChat. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. Who can use VibeChat

VibeChat is a general social and creator platform. By creating an account or using the app, you confirm that you are old enough to enter into a binding agreement and to use an online service of this kind where you live. Certain features have additional age restrictions. In particular, Random 1-on-1 Video Chat is strictly limited to users aged 18 and over, and users must satisfy the applicable age requirements before accessing that feature. Our systems enforce the 18+ restriction for Random 1-on-1 Video Chat, and by using it you confirm you are 18 or older. You must provide accurate registration information and must not create accounts to evade a block, suspension or ban.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything done through your account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to post or transmit content that:

• contains child sexual abuse material (CSAM), or sexualizes or exploits minors in any way;
• depicts non-consensual or sexual acts, nudity, or sexually explicit material;
• harasses, threatens, bullies or doxxes another person;
• promotes violence, terrorism, hate speech or discrimination;
• impersonates someone else or is fraudulent, deceptive or spam;
• distributes malware, viruses or executable files, or violates any law or third-party right.

We may remove content that violates these Terms and take action on accounts, up to and including permanent ban and referral to law enforcement where appropriate.

4. Random 1-on-1 Video Chat

Random 1-on-1 Video Chat connects you with another registered VibeChat user for a live video conversation. Matching is random, but it is not anonymous: your account name and profile information are shown to the person you are matched with, and theirs are shown to you. The feature is strictly for users aged 18 and over. You must not show explicit or sexual content during calls, and you must keep your camera and microphone off unless you choose to turn them on. Calls are peer-to-peer and are not recorded or stored. You may report and block any user who violates these rules; a report ends the session.

5. Demo funds and payments

Your wallet currently contains demonstration/play money, and demo balances have no real cash value. VibeChat currently does not process real-money deposits, real-money withdrawals, or real creator payouts, and users cannot withdraw the demo balance as real money. Tips, channel subscriptions and paid-media unlocks are currently simulated demonstration features for demonstration only, not real payment services. Kenyan Shillings (KSh) may be displayed purely as demonstration denominations.

6. Content you post

You retain ownership of content you post, but you grant VibeChat a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display and distribute it as needed to operate the service. You are solely responsible for the content you share.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Settings → Delete Account. We may suspend or permanently ban accounts that violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines. Upon deletion, your personal data is removed or anonymized where applicable, as described in our Account Deletion page. Certain information may be retained where necessary for legal obligations, fraud prevention, security, safety reports, moderation, dispute resolution, or legitimate accounting/transaction requirements.

8. Disclaimer and liability

VibeChat is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from your use of the service, content posted by users, or interactions between users.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “last updated” date. Continued use of the app after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
